Katharina Buck was born in Nürtingen, Germany, where she also grew up. She began her ballet training in 2009 at the Ballet School Siggi Lohr in her hometown. In 2012 she attended the John Cranko School in Stuttgart from which she graduated in summer 2024.

In 2023 she was the protagonist of the film documentation “Crankos Traum - Die Talentschmiede des Stuttgarter Balletts“.

As of the 2024/25 season Katharina Buck is dancing in Stuttgart Ballet’s Corps de ballet.
