Krzysztof Nowogrodzki was born in Koszalin, Poland. He received his ballet education first at the National Ballet School in Warsaw from 1981 to 1983. Then he went to the National Ballet School in Gdansk where he graduated in 1990. Subsequently he entered the company at the Baltic Opera in Gdansk as a Soloist. In 1992 he joined the Assiciazione Balletto Classico in Reggio Emilia, Italy, as a Soloist. There he was prepared for the International Ballet Context in Varna, Bulgaria, where he won the third prize in the Senior Category. In 1990 he already won the third prize in the Junior Category in Varna.
In 1993 Krzysztof Nowogrodzki came to Stuttgart where he danced as a Soloist with the Stuttgart Ballet. His repertoire included choreographies by George Balanchine, Maurice Béjart, Mauro Bigonzetti, David Bintley, John Cranko, Marcia Haydée, John Neumeier, Peter Schaufuss, Uwe Scholz, Stephan Thoss, Hans van Manen, Renato Zanella and others.
In the years 1998 and 1999 he performed as Principal Guest Artist with the Royal Danish Ballet. After performing as a Guest Artist with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in May 1999, Krzysztof Nowogrodzki moved from Stuttgart to Birmingham to work with David Bintley and his company. During this engagement he also danced in works by George Balanchine, Sir Kenneth MacMillan und Sir Peter Wright. In 2002 David Bintley created the Solo Krzysztof’s Etude, which Krzysztof Nowogrodzki danced at the Gala for the 40th Anniversary of the Stuttgart Ballet.
In September 2002 he successfully accomplished his studies at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and became a member of RAD as Enrolled Teacher (PDTD). In December 2003 he graduated and obtained the degree Bachelor of Philosophy at The University of Birmingham.
Between 2002 and 2004 Krzysztof Nowogrodzki was working as a freelance teacher with ballet companies and ballet school worldwide, amongst others with the Stuttgart Ballet, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Royal Swedish Ballet, the Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse (France) and the National Ballet of Slovenia in Ljubljana and Maribor. Anschließend he was enganged as First Ballet Master at the Royal Swedisch Ballet.
Since July 2006 Krzysztof Nowogrodzki is working as Director of Production and Ballet Master with the Stuttgart Ballet.
