Vita

Satchel Tanner was born in California (USA) and grew up in Arizona. He started his ballet training in 2007 at the School of Ballet Arizona. As of 2013 he attended the Master Ballet Academy in Scottsdale from which he graduated in 2015. In 2014 he took part in the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition and won the Special Jury Award. One year later he won the first place and a contract with the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in the Senior Division at the Youth America Grand Prix 2015.

From 2015 to 2016 Satchel Tanner danced with the ABT Studio Company, subsequently he was a member in the Junior Company of the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam. In the 2018/19 season he became a member of Stuttgart Ballet’s Corps de ballet.At the beginning of the 2023/24 season he was promoted to Demi-Soloist.
